WELCOME TO

THE SILENT TASK FORCE

Read about how you can receive FREE groceries every week and our upcoming events!

Dear Community,

It is with great honor that we introduce you to The Silent Task Force, a dedicated multigenerational team committed to easing the hardships of food insecurity in our community. There is no doubt that the price for food is rising everyday, making healthy eating a difficult task. Not to mention we only have one grocery store in Skyway! Thanks to our partners and grant funding, we are empowered to address the generational food trauma that BIPOC and low-income communities have endured for far too long. We are excited to announce that The Food As Medicine Experience has transformed to better serve you and your families!

What We’re Up To

At the heart of our mission are our Food Justice Warriors, dedicated to finding accessible solutions for everyone in our community. Over time, the way we distribute food has evolved, allowing us to make meaningful adjustments that better meet your needs. We’re committed to ensuring that fresh, healthy options are available to all.

We’re excited to remind you that every week, you have three opportunities to receive FREE fresh produce. Together, we’re building a more equitable food system, and we can’t wait for you to be a part of it!
