As we bid farewell to 2023, I want to thank those dazzling panelists who made something extraordinary happen at our live-streamed events, beautifully and powerfully using the arts to tell stories of the essentialness, the individuality, the creativity, the agency, the wonder and staggering heartbreak of more-than-human animals through film, photography, literature, music, illustrations, drawings, paintings, to inspire cultural transformation. Such glittering names as Marc Bekoff, Jeff Sebo, Dana Ellyn, Annie Potts, Claudia Hirtenfelder, and Steve Jenkins and the global shining star, the late Esther the Wonder Pig. There were the bold and luminous artists Bubi the Bear, Julia Denos, Carol Gigliotti, Shannon Johnstone, Maria Martelli of Just Wondering, EvaMarie Lindahl, Laura Jean McKay, and Michelle Waters.
We premiered our film, “Pigs and Pathogens: What’s on Your Plate? Rather, WHO’s on Your Plate?"
Thanks to your remarkable support, we have been able to reach thousands through our events, film, ongoing blogs, and social media. When you donate, you become a charitable ally in arts-focused advocacy on behalf of more-than-human animals. All gifts, of any amount, matter.
Today is the last day to make your tax-deductible donation to help support our next films and online events and forthcoming programs. I am over the moon about our upcoming projects in development, and I ask that you make a gift to Arukah Animal International today.
