Puppies & pastures Those are just a few of the things that I am thankful for. It is really hard to put into words the things that I feel some days. I find myself paralyzed when I stop and think about what God has blessed me with. Truly, I find myself not able to move, and many times I am moved to tears. In my message last week to my Mid-Week Refresh church goers, I challenged them to find one thing to be thankful for 5 out of the next 7 days. I talked about finding the good in the hard. Finding the light in the dark. It is something that takes time & training but finding the good in the bad is worth it. As we start making our way towards Go-Home Day with all our little puppies, I am so grateful. We are soaking up all the snuggles we can get! We hope each one of you and your families has a great Thanksgiving, however you celebrate it. Ours will look different this year, but I am ok with that. Happy November! ~Elly |

What I am Reading & Watching |

| | The audiobooks have been at a pretty slow pace the last few weeks. I am not even halfway finished with book #20.... it is so good! I find myself having to listen to the previous two or three chapters from the day before because so much is happening in this book. I am anxiously waiting to get thru this book and look forward to the next! | | |

| | I have a really, really, REALLY hard time believing that this classic movie is 31 years old. Wade and I introduced the kids' to this movie a few weeks ago and wouldn't you know it, it references Iowa....probably not in the best of ways but still! George Strait, The King himself knows that us Iowa girls exists.... watch it & see if you catch it! | | |

The kids have started an Introduction to Dog Obedience class with Nash and Junior. The instructor gave the kids a clicker on the first day of class. I had heard of this training method and did some research. For us and our family, it just isn't ideal. Main reason...we lost them! LOL. But really though, the kids had been training those two first about 3 weeks, 2xs a day for 15 minutes and adding in the clicker was confusing to both of them. I am going to attach an article and video that I have shown Sydney & Jackson. There are lots of different training methods, and sometimes it takes trying a few different ones before you find the one that best fits you and your dog. |

We have puppies available! Head on over to our Available page to add a furry friend to your family. Please remember that I am only one person and I will do my absolute best to keep our website up to date and current. Sometimes I can't get onto our webpage right away to change a puppy from available to reserved.

When we send puppies home, we send a sample of our favorite pet shampoo from Monat. I signed up to be a Market Partner 5 years ago when they launched and believe in all their products 100% I used their haircare and skincare line. So does Sydney and Jackson. Wade still uses Melaleuca...it's about the only thing that gets piggy smells out, LOL! If you are interested in getting some or the spray, here is a link.
