SPOTLIGHT on Local Partners Everwild Farm |
|
|
Tim Pearsall owns Everwild Farm and operates it with the help of his brother, Thom and Tim's wife Tal. They are only in their second year of operation, and their hard work is evident because it is gorgeous space with many varietals of produce. Farmer Tim lives and breathes this life. Formerly working in Restoration Ecology, Tim has invested a lot of energy on rebuilding natural habitats and dealing with invasive species. They use minimal tillage and hand tools for much of the labor on the farm. Where can you find Everwild produce? On the plate at many local restaurants, like Tannery Run Brew Works. Also, catch them Saturdays through November 5 at Pretzel Park Farmers Market in Manayunk and the occasional pop-up market.
