WIP:November

Hi friends,

Can you believe that Christmas is only 39 days away? Erp, that seems like such a small number.

As we approach the end of another year, I find myself reflecting on the journey of my practice and the remarkable support I have received from my community.

This past year has been nothing short of transformative. I've experienced remarkable growth in many areas of my business — I partnered with 19 new clients, I picked up 5 new stockists throughout the state, and I developed 4 new products for my retail practice. Let's not talk about how I only made 1 painting, tho.

Beyond the metrics and milestones, it’s also been a tremendous year of learning. I’ve learned about systematizing my freelance design practice and being a partner to the clients I work with; I’ve learned pattern design and have dipped my toes into the world of surface design licensing; and I’ve become more proficient and experienced in my design programs.

Your support and trust in what I make and what I do has fueled such personal growth. The support from our small but mighty community has been the foundation of my journey. It is truly humbling and I am profoundly grateful, and I look forward to the opportunities that the future holds. 🖤

Crafting Community

Last month I put out a call for artists and makers to participate in a gift guide. Due to the overwhelming interest, the Gift Guide officially became a collaboration with Fairbanks Arts Association. Together, we’ve created the first ever “Crafting Community - A Fairbanks Arts Gift Guide,” which is truly a celebration of handmade, buying local, and supporting artists, artisans, and makers as small businesses.

Our main focus and purpose was to highlight each and every artisan and make a positive difference for them, all through a beautiful end product. I’m excited to say, we did it!

I’m sharing a sneak peek with you all right here. The printed Gift Guide will drop on Small Business Saturday, November 25. You can grab a copy from the Fairbanks Arts table at the Handmade Holiday Market at Pioneer Park. Watch your email for the digital version which I’ll send out on the same day (yes, that means 2 emails from me this month - sorrynotsorry).

The collab was perfectly seamless. I feel so fulfilled to have spearheaded this project, and to promote the arts in Interior Alaska this holiday season (and beyond!). It is my hope that it only grows from here.

If you are an artist or maker and want to be on the mailing list, or a business and want to help support this endeavor in the future, please send an email to giftguide@fairbanksarts.org.

Ocean Cleanup Project Contribution

On another note, and in celebration of this month of giving, I am thrilled to share that I was able to make a decent gift to The Ocean Cleanup Project.

This gift was made possible by your purchases of my Liberty water bottles, as promised when I launched them earlier this summer.

As part of my commitment to contribute meaningfully to the things most important to me, I pledge to continue to give a portion of my proceeds from the Liberty Bottles sales to The Ocean Cleanup Project.

You can get involved! Liberty bottles make great gifts or stocking stuffers for any budding scientist or nature lover. And you'll have that warm fuzzy feeling knowing that you're purchase is making a meaningful contribution to the planet.

Only SALE of the Year

Happening now but not for long… It’s the only time of year that I host a sale, so don’t miss it. Use promo code CHASINGDREAMS23 to receive 10% off your entire order, now through Small Business Saturday.

Upcoming Events

I’ve been fully in the swing of the holiday markets and bazaars, and if you saw my studio in-between, you'd think I had a hoarding problem. I've you've missed me so far, worry not -- I still have a handful of events remaining. Find me at the following:

Don't forget, the Handmade Holiday Market is where you can find the printed Gift Guide. That will be the day I share the digital version, as well.

Wishing you a season filled with joy, gratitude, and the warmth of community.

With heartfelt thanks,

Brianna Reagan

P.S. If this email ever turns into a burden, I encourage you to unsubscribe – no hard feelings here.
