One Step Closer

 An Angel Joins our Team

We are delighted to announce the onboarding of Ms. Priti Rao to our startup as an Angel Investor. With a career spanning over 25 years, she brings a wealth of diverse experience in IT services, having worked with renowned organizations such as Infosys and Dell. She also holds influential positions as a board member for Union Bank and several startups. Beyond her professional accomplishments, Ms. Priti's impactful contributions extend to her role in empowering young girls from disadvantaged background through her NGO and her leadership as the Managing Director of Pumpkin Patch Day Care. We feel privileged to receive her support as we expand our team and progress towards market readiness. Her expert guidance will undoubtedly propel us towards success.

Special Thanks to Ms. Sujata Bogawat and the EDC team for supporting us in this journey.

A Skilled Physiotherapist Bringing more than Medical Expertise!

We are excited to welcome Dhara Pooj to our team. With her experience as a practicing physiotherapist and her non-clinical background of working with medical devices, Dhara's insights will guide us in aligning our product with the intricacies of physiotherapy, ultimately enhancing clinical outcomes. We are thrilled to have her valuable contribution on board.

Embarking on the Regulatory Compliance Journey

As a medical device company, complying to ISO standards is vital to guarantee a safe and risk-free product for patients. We have commenced our journey of regulatory compliance by laying down our processes as per the ISO13485 standards. We have also started working towards receiving our Test license from India's national regulatory body, CDSCO (Central Drugs Standard Control Organization), allowing us to test our device's safety with regulated laboratories. We are enthusiastic about the journey ahead and the positive impact it will have on our product's quality and safety.

Physiotherapy Burnout is Destroying the Profession

A UK based healthcare staffing firm highlighted that physical therapy burnout is a prevalent issue caused by changing reimbursement structures, unrealistic productivity demands, and limited non-clinical career opportunities. Therapists are overworked and face excessive productivity demands in hospitals and outpatient clinics, leading to dissatisfaction. We at ForHealth believe embracing advancements like integration of robotics, AI powered tools, and virtual reality (VR) in the field can improve efficiency, streamline patient care, and reduce the physical strain on therapists, thus mitigating burnout.
