Jesus answered, “Everyone who drinks this water will be thirsty again, but whoever drinks the water I give them will never thirst. Indeed, the water I give them will become in them a spring of water welling up to eternal life.” John 4:13-14 Summer’s here and it’s hot. When this heat hits, our minds turn to find refreshment, and what is the most physically sought after form of refreshment? Water. Of course it is– that’s how God designed us. He knew that one day we would have the Living Water, Jesus, refreshing our souls. Reflecting on the passage in John 4 when Jesus meets the Samaritan woman at the well, what draws them together is a thirst for physical and, ultimately, spiritual water. Jesus tells this woman, who obviously had “heard” the Truth, but didn’t know Him, that He is the answer to her thirst. This discussion lends itself to the topic of worship and the announcement that true worshippers will one day worship the Father in spirit and in truth. Our Legacy team is overflowing with joy as we think about the upcoming school year with your families! We are excited to take the Truth that has been taught to your children and strengthen it! We are excited to embolden them with the knowledge that they are able and designed to worship God in spirit and truth. We are excited to see the Living Waters flow through this generation! |

LCA Open House Thank you to everyone who was able to join us for our first ever LCA Open House! Pictured above is Lewis the Legacy Lion giving a high five to a future Legacy student! We were so blessed with all who were in attendance! We loved sharing all the amazing ways God has been providing so that Legacy can open for your children and grandchildren on September 6th, our first day of school! It was great to talk to enrolled families, interested families, community members and LCA supporters! Not only were we blessed by having you all there, through this event, and generous hearts, God provided funding for some needed building improvements. We were able to start on these improvements this week and are looking forward to our next Open House on July 24th, where we can show you these and more examples of God's faithful provision to His children! We will post the time and specifics of our July Open House on our LCA Facebook page! Like our page and check in frequently! |

Identity in Christ By Dr. Josh Mulvihill “Who am I?” Every young person asks themselves this question. It is the challenge of childhood and the hunt of humanity to discover one’s identity. Society shouts to our children, attempting to convince them that they can create their own identity through the clothes they wear, the car they drive, the cause they support, their tattoos, music, job, gender pronouns, race, and sexuality they embrace. As a result, identity can change with a new pair of clothes, a new accessory, or a proclamation of gender expression. Click on the image to read more... |

Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength. These commandments that I give you today are to be on your hearts. Impress them on your children. Talk about them when you sit at home and when you walk along the road, when you lie down and when you get up. Deuteronomy 6:5-7 |
