Obtaining Information from Imagery

An Imagery dataset contains Positional information i.e. Latitude, Longitude & Elevation data and Attribute information i.e. the characteristics of the object or surface at that pixel position. Processing Imagery yields information which could be valuable for a variety of purposes, be it commercial or social in nature.
