It's National Eggnog Day!

Wait, is eggnog good? The jury is still out on this one.

Happy Friday Friends!!!

Happy Newsletter Friday! Welcome to those of you who are reading this for the first time and welcome back to those returning! Let's kick it off with the anticipated poll results!

THE POLL RESULTS:

How much energy are you will to exert to get somewhere? Are you the "let's get an uber friend?" or "It is only a 10 hour drive, let's drive friend?" Maybe you are the, "let's go on a plane" friend. There are many types of transportation but, it appears that one is favored over the other. What is it though?!

It appears, yet again, we have another tie! While people like a train ride, a submarine ride, and a plane ride, they aren't the favorite type. It turns out we have a tie between.... *VROOM VROOM* - a car AND *click clack* walking! I decided that this poll will be won based on who would win in a fight. Walking would win in a fight because this is more suitable for all types of terrains. A car would hit something, get stuck, or simply wouldn't fit. WALKING WINS!

OTHER NEWS:

The shortest day of the year happened and according to the calendar it is "officially" winter. The nights might be long and the days might be short for a while now and I know that can be hard on a lot of people. It is hard for me. I know it is important to create a plan to keep myself moving. It might be hard but, get that 30-minute walk in, get a lil' work out in, see a friend (safely), and find activities that help these dark days feel a little better. I know I am trying to get out for at least a 30-minute walk because after that, I know I will feel better. We got this, we can do winter!

Alex's Book Corner

I am currently reading:

  • Cassandra at the Wedding by Deborah Eisenberg

What I have read these past few weeks:

  • The Comprehensive ENFP Survival Guide by Heidi Priebe

    • This was a fun read. If you know me, I love MBTI... You get from it what you put into it. Some is silly but, for me, it was mostly a fun read. (4 stars)

  • Atlas of the Heart by Brené Brown

    • This book is a little dry but very important. It is an emotional dictionary and it provides you with the language to better express yourself. I highly recommend it and the book is beautiful looking! (5 stars)

The Newsletter Poll!

Would you walk 500 miles and would you roll 500 more? It is clear you would because walking won this last poll! This next poll is brought to you by your host, Alexander Frisch - What mood describes your feeling about 2022?

One more thing: Want to see your poll question in the newsletter? Submit your ideas here!
