It's doggone hot out there, folks!

Katie likes to chill out in the AC or doggie paddle in the pool on these sultry days. I snapped this candid of her settling into the car after I picked her up from the groomer the other day. Her muzzle is now mostly gray, but she's still a puppy-at-heart, chasing her tail and eagerly awaiting her daily jaunt around the neighborhood.

Do you have a companion that readily offers you unconditional positive regard? It's a wonderful little recharge isn't it?

How much deeper is our heavenly Father's unconditional love for us!

As we've progressed through this month's verses on grace, I've been struck several times by His mercy in offering us the everlasting gift of grace.

30 Days of Grace

This week we transition out of our June series and launch into July...

As we prepare to celebrate our country's Freedom, we're also going to dive into scriptures related to our FREEDOM in Christ. Thanks to Annette from Tulsa who curated our verse collection for this month!

31 Days of Freedom

Technology has given us the freedom to connect with others long-distance, yet in a personal way. I've sure appreciated getting to know Bible Quilters from across the country thanks to the wizardry of Zoom!

Our last chat included ladies from 8 different states and Canada, sharing ideas about ways to blend scripture into family activities and their personal devotions. A granddaughter even made a brief appearance to share a recent page that she did. I just love how these grandmas are pouring into their grandkids!

This replay mentions the Fruit of the Spirit kit, which is a new product I'm experimenting with as a way to provide some materials to kickstart BQ sessions with kiddos. It's not listed in the shop yet, but if you're interested you can email me. ($45 + shipping for boxed set with acrylic frame; $40 without frame + $8.55 flat rate padded envelope). It includes a facilitator brochure and 3 sets of Fruit of the Spirit templates/supplies as described in the replay.

Curious about how others incorporate Bible Quilting into their devotional time? Excited to get started, but not quite sure how? Join us on our next Zoom...listen in, ask questions...all are welcome!

BQ Zoom Chat:  Tuesday, July 13th 11-11:30 am central

Locals, if you've got a small group you'd like to gather for Bible Quilting, contact me and we'll get it scheduled! Long-distance peeps, I've got an idea for another craft night...let's pick a summer evening and get creative together!

ABC Bible Quilt Journal

And that's a wrap for the first round of ABCs of the Bible this year!

If you'd like to continue making steady progress, then you can keep focusing on a letter each week and make it through the alphabet one more time by the end of the year. (I may not always add an #abcbiblequiltjournal update in the newsletter, but there are example pages on the website as well as in the FB group announcements.)

Alice's BQ group in Alabama had fun creating with the Tool box template recently. She shared her page on WORK. Isn't that tool box cu-ute??

And Fran created this lovely page on Amazing Grace:

~~~ Amazing Grace. How sweet the sound ~~~
Enjoy your communities of worship today, my friends!
