The award for best Passover pictures goes to...

Today at the art market, coloring pages, Passover updates, my embarassing Bat-Mitzvah memories.

Sunday, March 27, 2022

Hello! Ok, I have not won any Oscars... or awards...but maybe one day it will be me! I've been staying up late to get my Passover Haggadah done and off to the press, and to prepare to sell today at the Grand Bazaar, a market in Manhattan. There I am below! It was cold and kind of slow, but I'm still optimistic!

Below see new Easter/Passover coloring book pages, Passover updates and finds, funny memories from my Bat Mitzvah, and more about the market and business in general. Enjoy!

If you're new to Danielle in Doodles, welcome! I publish this newsletter of my latest doodles and updates most Sundays, and you can see archives here. Doodles are usually about life in NYC, pop culture, and my Jewish culture and holidays.

Coloring book pages for Easter and Passover

I had this last-minute idea before my market to make coloring book pages using images from my Haggadah, and to add some for Easter. They actually turned out pretty well and someone bought them today!

Don't Fuhaggadahboudit Passover updates

The book is here! Thank you to my friends and family who read it over. Everyone who has read it says it's hilarious. My grandmother's senior living community is loving it, too. I'm basically a celebrity when I go there. If you bought the Haggadah last year, this version is smaller (5.5 by 8.5— but the font is still big), brighter, and funnier. You can see it in pictures all over this newsletter, and in a 30-second video here.

100 years of Bat Mitzvahs

March 18 marked the 100 year anniversary of the first Bat Mitzvah. It took place in NYC! So I went down memory lane...

Market review

I sold a few books, connected with some people, and got better at setting up and presentation. My coworker came, which was so nice! I may go back next Sunday, or try a different market.

I'll be watching the Oscars tonight, and I can imagine the actors and producers put a lot of work into their craft, sacrificing sleep and time with friends, not knowing if it would go anywhere, feeling a little crazy. That's kind of how I feel (in a different industry!). So I appreciate all your support and encouragement. Thank you for reading and to those of you who have ordered! More exciting stuff to come. :D
