REDC is pleased to share with you the 2020 Mid-Year CEDS. This is a special supplemental publication of our 2020 five-year visioning plan. The COVID-19 pandemic, designated on March 11, 2020, seriously disrupted the region, state, nation, and world. The designation occurred while REDC was in the midst of its five-year planning and visioning process. In New Hampshire, we felt the economic disruptions as early as mid-March, and we are still experiencing the full scope of the economic and human impacts in our region. The Mid-Year CEDS provides a brief look at the economic impacts to our region and state that have occurred thus far and since the publication of the 2020 CEDS. |

It’s that time of year when REDC solicits new projects for our 2021 Priority Project List. Priority Projects are those plans, programs, and projects that satisfy one of our four Economic Development Goals (Infrastructure Development, Workforce Attraction & Retention, Housing, Sustainable Living). We report on these through the CEDS, a local planning document designed to guide the economic growth of our region. Also, submitting a project for inclusion on the CEDS Priority Project List is the first step in identifying potential funding opportunities under the U.S. Department of Commerce, Economic Development Administration (EDA). If you know of any project that would be a good fit, please complete the New Project Form, and REDC's CEDS Planner will get in touch with you. New Project submittals are due March 12, 2021.
