Our Twenty-Eighth Chapter 

Once again we welcome you to our Open Forum where we examine some of the questions and challenges that face many Spiritual Seekers... and none are more intriguing than

What really is ‘The Spiritual Path’ ?

Without a doubt this is one of the most fascinating questions, and for each culture there will be a different answer...yet too often they offer opposing and conflicting opinions...

So how do we know which ones are correct  [or even come closer to ‘The Truth’]

Easy...

All of them are ‘right’...and none truly are ...

Rather, they all contain aspects of Truth, but none quite touch the Universal Truth...

Let me explain - what most people consider to be a ‘Spiritual Path’ is no more than a set of rules designed to teach its followers about Self-Discipline [i.e. overcoming our Lower Nature] and Discipleship [the focused application of Will; i.e. following a purpose to achieve a goal, immaterial of any obstacles on the way]

These rules come from the Doctrine of its Lineage [basically words / thoughts / concepts from the original Guru / Saint / Master / Prophet, now assembled as ‘Sacred Teachings’]

And, as with all Doctrines, they are studied and applied as Dogma - rigid rules of thought and behavior which now oppose Time and Evolution.

[How often have I been chastised for asking too many questions, and being told to not question my ‘Faith’ !]

Now, don’t get me wrong, I am NOT saying that these rules are wrong, nor am I suggesting that Dogma and Doctrine have no value - to the contrary, they do play a very important part, for they are Sacred Gateways that all Seekers must go through... for it is here that the first steps of the Path are to be found, here we discover the most fundamental of Spiritual concepts and training... here we begin to realize that there is a much greater Reality out there, and now question the small-minded attachments to selfishness, greed, and material status

[Do people really think that becoming a multi-millionaire is going to be of any benefit in the After-Life ? ...really !?!]

So yes, these are important and valuable...just don’t stop your progress, don’t stop searching for the Higher Meaning, don’t think that any one ‘Teaching’ is the end goal...for they are ALL just steps on the Path of Self Awareness and Self Realization.

You must understand that all Life is Flow - it’s about growth, evolution, and gaining a deeper wisdom, about discovering Higher and Higher Truth... and as you move further and further along the Path, so you become more sensitive to the Teachings, better able to understand its subtle meanings and instruction... and even this is still merely another step...

Ultimately you must become the Path - here to forget about rules / dogma / doctrine, for now you have transcended the limitations of human words and mind, and have - finally - touched Self Realization... and here - with no Ego, no glamour, no feelings of righteous superiority - here you have become the Teachings...

This is the Spiritual Path, and not those poor interpretations of Spirit so quickly imposed upon others by ‘men and women of Good Will’... BE the Path...don’t preach it ...

P. S. This ‘embodiment of the Path’ is easily seen in great musicians, singers, dancers, artists ...who, having mastered the techniques of their discipline, are now able to free themselves of these restrictions and any other imposed expectations, and properly express the true Essence of the Art... They have become that !...[and so can you...if you wish...]

About your Facilitator -  Mario C. Veo was born in Italy and grew up in Africa.

From a young age he had deep and personal experiences with Spirit and Higher Beings, often communicating with departed souls. His quest for understanding this greater reality led him to seek out Masters and Spiritual Teachers from around the world. He has traveled extensively throughout India, studying and in pilgrimage, always seeking to refine his training.

He is a Spiritual Counselor and Healer, a senior T’ai Chi and Chi Gong instructor, Feng Shui Master, and Shaman Initiate.

He is in private practice in Denver where he teaches Spiritual and Metaphysical classes, and guides Seekers on their personal Path of Transformation and Empowerment.
