We did it! We raised almost $2,000 during Give for Good on September 14th. We want to say a huge thank you to the 20 donors who helped us surpass our goal of $1,000 this year. Without you all, we would not have been able to do it!

Give for Good Louisville

As the back-to-school season commences, we currently have five youth attending elementary/high schools schools in Floyd County. Join us in extending warm wishes for a joyful and safe academic year ahead. Furthermore, we've established an Amazon wish list aimed at providing essential educational resources to support these young minds within our shelter. Your generous contributions can make a significant difference in their educational journey.

Indiana's Housing & Community Development Authority's (IHCDA) Neighborhood Assistance Program (NAP) is a program of the State of Indiana that provides $2.5 million tax credits annually to non-profit organizations like us, for distribution as a fundraising tool. The program was created by Indiana Code 6-3.1-9. NAP credits are worth 50% of the value of a donation/contribution made to us by you. This means that a $200 donation to us nets a $100 tax credit for you. If you would like to know more or donate and receive a tax credit, click the learn more button below.

$20,000 Gym Update for September

In the month of September, our old gym floor was removed and the concrete substrate underneath was refinished and is ready for the new epoxy floor to be poured in October. The gym is one step closer to being completed and we can't wait for you all to see the final product! Our heartfelt appreciation goes out once again to The Caesars Foundation of Floyd County, as well as to our gracious donors whose invaluable contributions have propelled this project to its current success.

Service Spotlight

Backed by decades of brain-based research and neuroscience, UKERU is a simple, yet highly effective approach to crisis management that offers an alternative to coercive behavior techniques in our facility. Our dedicated youth workers and staff are extensively trained in the UKERU approach, ensuring they have the expertise and knowledge to effectively implement this groundbreaking system in their work with young individuals in crisis. UKERU is a system based on receiving information communicated through someone’s actions. It is the only restraint-free program that combines hands-on training, theoretical concepts, practical tools, and specialized equipment to safely manage—and diffuse—crises.
