When browsing our social media feeds, we tend to get a one-sided glimpse of the start-up world. Rarely do we get to take a closer look at the stumbling blocks, the roller coaster that is a new venture, or the fire the keeps founders in it, day after day.

As we come into a new season, we bring to you some of the beautiful backstories of founders who are making it happen, right now. Through this issue, we also aim to broaden the definition of the new venture. Ventures aren't limited to billion dollar companies, instant success stories, or large sums of investor funding. New ventures can look like exploring a new facet of yourself, building up a part-time gig, or diving into a passion project. What would you start today if you ignored the outside definitions and expectations of success?

At OutGrowth, we believe in re-imagining, re-defining. We believe in the continuous pursuit of exploration as an end in itself. Thinking of dipping your toe into a new endeavor? Our September issue has the resources and inspiration to get you moving! Let's dare to see how life could look. Happy reading.

Many of the most lasting and meaningful endeavors in my life have been initiated by an organic and familiar mix of interest, curiosity, and exploration.

The spirit of this early phase can best be described as a blissful kind of fun that creates a gateway for what I consider to be an adventure – a bold, ambitious, and enjoyable experience that requires little to no structure, formality, or commitment.

My breakthrough for the year is in Revolution.

Right, let me back up a few steps. I am a trained Life and Leadership Coach, a graduate of Accomplishment Coaching - one of the nation's oldest and most rigorous coach training programs.
