SUBMISSION FORM

On Behalf of the Te Puke Repertory Society, we send our heartfelt condolences to Brenda and family at the sad news of the passing of Callum McKenzie on 27th October 2022.

Callum will be remembered for his huge contribution to the Te Puke Repertory Society. He was seen in lead roles in a variety of dramatic and comedic productions and he also held the roles of President, Treasurer and Committee member for several years.

He was always dedicated to the theatre and using his building background, instigated many improvements.  We are all very saddened by the passing of our friend and fellow thespian. Te Puke Repertory have made a donation to the Arthritis Foundation in memory of Callum.

Callum McKenzie

1st August 1959–27th October 2022

Some of the shows you will remember Callum in : Joyful and Triumphant, It's my Party and I'll Die if I want to, Calander Girls, Heaven Help Us, Simply Short Play Festival, Sex Please We're 60 ... and many more.

Callum played Alec in the most recent play, Gone to seed. Alec was a 'no nonsense' kind of a guy with a wicked sense of humour and a passion for life - a role that suited Callum perfectly.

And whether we shall meet again I know not. Therefore our everlasting farewell take: For ever, and for ever, farewell.

Shakespeare - Julius Caesar

Now the lime light has been dimmed, the last curtain call done. Farewell mate.you'll be hugely missed, not only in our theatre community but in the lives of so many.
