NATURE FUN DAY with Isa Mazzeo of OPUS

Do you enjoy the outdoors?

Have you ever wondered about the identities and uses of the plants growing in your yard?

If so, please join our group of Opus instructors and elementary students for a picnic, foraging lesson, and meandering 2-3mi hike along the trails adjacent to one of our city’s outdoor gems:

Pen Park 1300 Pen Park Rd Charlottesville 22901.

Participants are asked to bring water bottles, hiking boots, weather appropriate clothing, bug spray, and a personal picnic for their family.

We'll start with some mingling, will enjoy a lesson over our picnics, and will hit the trail!

I will be so happy to see your beautiful faces after so long!!!

Come out and enjoy the sun, the horses and friends.

Bring food for your clan or a dish or two to share

(However you are doing the potluck thing as COVID wanes), your sunscreen and chairs or a blanket to sit on.

LFT will provide fried chicken, lemonade and water to share.

Burgers & Bingo was so much fun in June that we are planning another game night at Riverside North in Aug!

Further details will be coming soon.

Bingo books will be $5 each and multiple prizes will awarded for each game.

No reservation needed.

All proceeds from the game will go to Living Free Together programs for the Military families of Charlottesville.
