Educators, I'm making my schedule for the 2022-2023 school year, and I'd love to connect with you and your students!

I've updated the programs I offer, including my Brain to Bookshelf presentation, writing workshops, title-specific offerings, and a program that focuses on the social-emotional side of the stories.

As a therapist and author, I have experience creating interactive, high-energy programs. I'm excited to be working with Authors Out Loud, who will help make events easy, simple, and customized to each school's needs.

Lists & Honors

THE MIRACULOUS, QUINTESSENCE, and THE ADVENTURE IS NOW have all received recent honors. THE ADVENTURE IS NOW was named a Bank Street Best Children's Book of 2021, which means all three of my books have been on this wonderful annual list. THE ADVENTURE IS NOW is a nominee for the Rhode Island Children's Book Award, THE MIRACULOUS is a nominee for the Sakura Medal, and—very exciting for this Florida writer—QUINTESSENCE is on the Sunshine State Young Readers Award list!

I'm very grateful to the media specialists, librarians, literacy specialists, and teachers who make these selections, and I'm excited to connect with readers from Rhode Island, Florida, and Japan over the coming year.
