I have been touched and delighted by all the positive feedback about my recently launched website. Some of you may be surprised by my increased social media activity but I am enjoying being more active, particularly on Facebook and Instagram, and it’s so great to see so many people following and engaging with me. Please keep spreading the news and sharing my posts, as I am sure lots of your families and friends will be needing a reliable personal travel agent at some point.

I am seeing an amazing number of enquiries for 2022 and securing some great holidays for my clients. Destinations have been varied, with cruise bookings and gorgeous Canada particularly popular, helped by the fact that I am securing some great advanced guaranteed prices.

The eagerly awaited traffic light update for travel to and from the UK was a little anti-climactic and not as straightforward as we would have hoped. The picture will change as time progresses and I will of course be keeping up to date with the very latest information and guidance. After the latest announcement, my industry associates at Travel Gossip have produced a very helpful Travel Guidance graphic.

I am aware though that many are still feeling understandably uncertain with all the regulations in place and the continued mixed messages, so when the time is right you know where to find me.

I am still busy helping move holidays to future dates and am highly appreciative that clients are supporting travel and rescheduling trips. At the end of the day, it’s important to have "something to look forward to".

On that front, I should have gone to Canada last May, then this one and now more likely next year but instead I have now booked a week on the Isles of Scilly (pictured above) next month. It’s a first for me, the fortunate recipient of a hotel cancellation from a supplier and I will be reporting my experiences in due course.

My first online client event held recently in conjunction with three colleagues and InsideJapan Tours was a great success and I will be holding more, so please let me know if there is a destination that you are interested in travelling to and would like to learn more about.

I hope that the easing of lockdown means lots of you have been able to see and start to catch up with missed family and friends.
