It could also be so wonderful to give yourself the gift of healthy eating. Eating well may also help with good mental health. Many of us have gained weight over the past year. It's easy to slip into bad habits, myself included. Why was I gaining weight when, as I told myself, "I eat healthy." Well, that was wrong!
Although I thought I was eating well, I had slipped into bad habits. Changing those bad habits has led to weight loss, increased wellbeing, and improved energy. So why not reflect on how you are eating and make some changes to make you feel better? Even adding a green smoothie to your diet each day can bring such energy and benefits as a Naturopathy client recently got so excited about.
Remember that there are often reasons behind why we crave the foods we do. And one of those reasons is that we train our bodies to crave certain foods simply because of what we are feeding them! We can train our bodies to crave predominantly healthy foods, so I invite you to do this for improved wellbeing!
In 2022 let's start looking forward. Let's adopt uplifting habits, attitudes and behaviours... and let's start now!
