September Update

We are now less than a month away from moving to Guatemala! While we are anxious, we are also extremely excited to be following God into this new season of life!

This month began with lots of art show prep. We printed many new images for our art events in larger sizes than in the past. It has been very exciting to see Jon's enlarged pictures on the walls of our booth! In August, we had 2 Art shows with the first one being the "Edina Fall into the Arts Festival". This Festival ended up being the best show we have had in the past 5 years and was a huge answer to prayer! The Edina weekend was our first opportunity to announce that all our sale profits help fund our mission. It was encouraging to have been able to share our heart behind Expedition Media and watch God inspire others through our stories.

The search for additional suitcases has ended! Jon and I found 3 suitcases that fit our needs perfectly. They are big enough where we will be able to transport our necessities while still meeting airline size restrictions so we will be all set to travel at the end of October. We found some incredible deals on all of them with 2 of them being super high quality that should last us for years to come!

In the process of downsizing, one of our big things we decided to sell was Amanda’s Toyota Corolla. The hope is to get enough money for the vehicle so we can buy a car in Guatemala, this would make networking and branching out to new missionaries a lot easier while we are there.

This month was Jon's birthday! Throughout the craziness of the month, it was a ton of fun to be able to pause for a day and celebrate Jon with family and a few friends.

As partnership continues, we are trying our best to schedule in-person meetings with you all! We have already scheduled several for October and only have only a handful of times open before we fly out on the 27th. Once we have arrived in Guatemala, we hope to be able to share via Facetime with those we will be unable to meet with in the US.

Praise

+   We have both been able to get into a routine of seeing a Chiropractor and

have been seeing tremendous healing from that.

+   God is using the art shows to continue bringing in support for Expedition Media.

+   We were able to get a storage shelving unit installed in our parents garage to

store our stuff while we are gone.

Prayer Requests

+   We sell the car and get enough to purchase another in Guatemala.

+   Our language learning continues to grow.

+   For Gods provision and direction as we get closer to leaving.

+   Pray for safe preparations and travel, the next newsletter we write will be from                   Guatemala!!
