Many Things to be Thankful For: As we reflect on the year and plan for 2021, we are very grateful for all the conservation work that was completed in 2020. This last year has been a challenge for everyone. Through the challenges, the SWCD Staff and board have learned new skills, learned different ways to communicate with partners and landowners, and more than ever how important the soil and water of the Brainerd Lakes’ Area is to everyone’s way of life. As of a mother of three young boys, I believe it takes a village to raise children. I also believe it takes a village to protect our lakes, rivers, and maintain soil health for the future generations. We are so grateful to be able to serve you in the last year and we look forward to continued and new partnerships in a brighter and more connected 2021. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year! |
