Hey friends! It’s finally fall, and I’m so excited! I love this time of year. The gorgeous colors, crisp air, sweatshirts, and hot chocolate are just some reasons why I love fall. I hope you’re all doing well, and you enjoy the updates below. Please make sure to take the poll to help decide the title of my Project Snow Wolf. |

Is anyone else doing virtual homeschooling? If you are, I commend you. It’s not easy. This month has been super crazy for me. My kids started virtual homeschool in late August. Some days I barely have time to sit down at my computer to check emails or social media, let alone write. However, with the help of my good friend Bridie Blake, I managed to write over 26k! Bridie and I have been doing writing sprints in the evenings together, and it’s helped so much! Thanks, Bridie! You’re awesome! In October, I hope to write another 20-30k. If I don’t finish it, then I'll work on it during NaNoWriMo. For more info on all of my projects, check out my books page. |

This month I started revisions, and I have to say they are going extremely slow for a few reasons. 1. This month, my life has been crazy busy. (See more details in my Project Mystery Update.) 2. My alpha readers read a messy first draft. I’ve never had alpha readers before, and all the things they pointed out are major things I need to work on. 3. I’ve decided to change the POV. This is a tremendous change, so it’s taking me a while to go through each chapter to change the POV. I’m working on this first before I do developmental revisions. |

I’m sorry to say since revisions are going slow, I’m pushing back my timeline of sharing this project with you. Once I’ve gotten further with revisions, I will let you know when I can share it with you all. I hope you can understand. :) However, I do have the results of last month’s poll below. Check it out! According to the results, I will share one chapter at a time. Thank you for voting! |

Title Poll Now for the title poll! I need your help to decide the title of Project Snow Wolf. My alpha readers voted, but there was a tie, so I need you to help break it. To help you decide, below is a rough blurb about the story. After reading it, click on the button to vote. I will share the results with you next month in my October newsletter. Blurb In order to save her eldest sister, Brienne, from The White Lady of the Albina Woods, reluctant queen, Kailyn, must find a way to end the winter curse that has plagued her kingdom of Avifort for many years. With her other sister, Mira, and best friend, Gavin, by her side, Kailyn embarks on a dangerous journey through the mystical woods where they encounter a white wolf who guides them to The White Lady’s ice castle. Through it all, Kailyn must not only save Brienne, but find the strength and confidence to rule Avifort. |

Pitch Wars I submitted my YA Contemporary Fantasy Rhythm of the Stars to Pitch Wars again this year. Wish me luck! To see more info on it, check out the members’ page on my website. Instagram Since things are so crazy right now, I'm cutting down the days I post to Instagram. I'll post at least twice a week, and I’ll still get on to connect with you all whenever I get some time each day. | | |

This month I only read one book and started another. Unfortunately, I never had a chance to read the book for the Diverse is Lit book club yet. (You Should See Me in a Crown). It’s next on my TBR, so I hope to read it very soon! To see all of my reads, follow me on Goodreads.
