Project Mages Update This month I worked on revisions. I also sent the first six chapters to my critique partner for some big picture feedback. So far she's loving it and gave me several things to think about and dive deeper into. I look forward to working on more revisions for this in June. Beta Readers Needed Once I'm done with revising it I'd love to do a round of beta readers, so if you're interested in becoming a beta reader for it please let me know. I'm also working on a short blurb about this book to add to my website to give you all more details on it. I hope to have it on there soon. Last month I announced that I started working on new a project just for my newsletter subscribers! If you follow me on Instagram, you'll know that I already shared a few tiny hints about this project. But here I'm sharing more details with you and this aesthetic I created for the story. I'm excited for you to see it, so I hope you like it! This month I finished outlining and creating scene cards for the story. I've also started drafting it. My goal is to share the first chapter of it with you, hopefully in September. I plan to give you a chapter each month. |

So on with the insider info I want to share with you this month! - It is YA Fantasy Novella I'm only sharing with my newsletter subscribers.
- I do not have a title for it yet, so I am calling it Project Snow Wolf for now.
- Two Grimm Brothers' fairy tales inspired elements of the story. Have you read or heard of the fairy tales, The Water of Life or Snow White and Rose Red? It's not the Snow White you're thinking about. It's completely different.

- It has a sister vibe similar to the original Charmed.
- There's an enchanted forest that's cursed into eternal winter.
- The main character's name is Kailyn which means keeper of the keys. The name inspired a piece of the story.
- The main character is the blonde in the photo of the sisters in the aesthetic.
- The wolf in the aesthetic is a key character but does not talk.

May Bookshelf In May, I had a bit of a reading slump. It took me over two weeks to read The Kiss of Deception. I'm not sure if I'll continue with the series yet. Then I read The Selection. Again, I'm not sure if I'll continue with the series. I'm trying to save some money by not buying too many ebooks each month. Have you read either of these books or are they on your TBR list?
