Ladies, Welcome to the new year! Sorry for the delay in getting our this newsletter. I had a little knee surgery last Thursday which threw off my schedule a bit. I would like to say thank you to our outgoing Board, Mary Russell, Sheila Thunboe, Cheryl Lavan and Kris Zwiezen for helping with the seamless transition of documents, emails and sharing of LAOH knowledge to our new Board and thank Mary for her leadership these past two years. I would also like to thank Mary and Sheila for planning our annual Nollaig na mban dinner and New Officer Installation on Friday, January 5th. It was a great evening of food, fun and friendship with our LAOH & AOH members. I can't wait to see what the new year brings. I look forward to working with our new Board and all our Denver LAOH sisters on sharing our faith, fundraising for our charities and enjoying Irish social events! I hope to see you all at our first meeting of the year, Tuesday, January 23rd, (I will be the one hobbling around). Social at 6:30pm, meeting at 7:00pm. Zoom link will follow in a separate email. The Irish Echo, the Oldest Irish American Newspaper in USA, Established in 1928, has published the 17th annual Irish Top 40 Under 40 Awards. Our own Kaitlyn Davis from the Denver LAOH was nominated and has been chosen as one of the recipients of this prestigious award for 2024! Make a request through laohdenver@gmail.com and we will send the information out for you. ALL Prayer requests should be sent to denverlaohprayers@gmail.com. Prayer requests generally go out once per week. We will have Rosary once per month on the 3rd Thursday of each month going forward hosted by Mary Lynn White. Look for the Zoom link the day before in your email. No experience necessary! Just bring your rosary and we'll help with the rest.
