Incubate Debate and its national chapters host no-cost, in-person debate tournaments where middle and high school students discuss timely and timeless issues and are recognize for their analysis, rhetoric, and civility.

Incubate recognizes that in order to bring open debate to the most students we have to meet them where they are: the classroom.

If there’s any one location where open debate is lacking it’s on America’s college campuses.
There is no substitute for the rigorous competition of opposing viewpoints. Incubate Debate brings this to students wherever they are—at our tournaments, in the classroom, and on their campuses.

Every good idea, stage of progress, invention or innovation has been subject to rigorous and open debate. By open, we mean debates that are open to a wide viewpoints and voices, debates where students are open to learning and open to disagreement.
