While this was an annual meeting unlike any other for DARCA, we were lucky to be in the presence of our members and to see familiar faces. We are looking forward to our 2021 plans and to our 2022 conference!

Board member additions: We'd like to welcome Brandon Johnson of the Southwest basin and Daniel Boyes from the Rio Grande Basin! Be on the lookout on our website and social media for a more in-depth introduction!

Officer elections: The DARCA board held officer elections and we are pleased to announce DARCA's leadership team!

Dawn Jewell, President

Scott Campbell, Vice President

Craig Ullmann, Secretary

Kirk Russell, Treasurer

Legislative action: The Board took a vote on two bills including HB21-1046, the mutual ditch bill and voted to support the bill. SB21-164, the uniform easement relocation, was placed in the monitor category. The Board of Directors continues to read and analyze potential legislation and we are always happy to hear from our members whether you are in support or opposition of a particular bill.
