Happy October Friends!
October is here and that means we are just 15 days away from Trexy's due date!! We prepared her moo-ternity stall and double checked our calving kit for all the necessary supplies. We can't wait to meet this little calf. I don't really know what I am hoping for, but I think having a little red calf would be super fun. No matter what she gives us, I'll just be happy with a healthy calf and healthy mama Trexy!
We are also breeding the goats this month. We brought *a very stinky* Chase up to the ladies but so far no one is interested. We are hoping the ladies go into heat soon, so we can have our kidding season mid-March. Kidding season is one of the more stressful times on the farm, but once those kids are out- it's the best!
In other news, we are preparing our online shop for the holiday season! I have added a few new seasonal scents and I am in the process of playing around with some bundle options! I am still working to perfect our tinted line of Goat Milk face moisturizer, lip oil, and lip balm. It's a lot of work to create a new product and ensure that it works well, is shelf stable, and the best product ever! I promise it will be with the wait.
