Hello, all the noses. This is our monthly update from Gatsby. Look what happened at Nose of Gatsby this month. (May and April: two months in one edition.)

April Accolades (and behind the scenes.)

Nose of Gatsby is excited and honored to have received three awards and recognitions for our perfumes in April. We also would love to share some behind-the-scenes footage with you.

Askmen.com awarded FANTÔME Eau de Parfum The Best Woody Fragrance in its Grooming Awards of 2024. FANTÔME is a clean, woody, slightly green opening, misty forest-inspired unisex fragrance. It is suitable for anyone who enjoys earthy aromas.

Then, BURNING PIANO Eau de Parfum received an Artisan Honorable Mention at this year’s Art and Olfaction Fragrance Awards. We are very thrilled to receive this honor. BURNING PIANO was one of my original five fragrances when I launched Nose of Gatsby in 2023. BURNING PIANO is a special fragrance to me. When I created it, I was in one of the most challenging times in my life. It's amazing and I felt grateful that BURNING PIANO is recognized by judges from The Art and Olfaction Awards (aka The Golden Pear Awards.)

Finally, on 4/28/2024 in Costa Mesa Califonia, we met many talented perfumers, artists, and fragrance enthusiasts in Los Angeles. AURA Eau de Perfume received the Best Woody Fragrance 2024 trophy at the Golden Pineapple Fragrance Awards. AURA is a one-of-a-kind unisex fragrance. It is very versatile and clean. AURA was also one of my original five scents when I started. Receiving these awards makes me feel humble and I would love to thank everyone again who supports my creations. There will be more exciting projects and new creations coming out soon. :)

In Two Minds.

Celebrating AAPI month and the recent Awards we received, Nose of Gatsby is releasing two different Gift Kits. The Adventurer Travel Set and The Gardener Travel Set with Savings. Both gift kits are collections of three 10mL travel-size Eau de Parfum sprayers.

They are perfect for restocking your favorite scents from Nose of Gatsby and also trying something you have not yet had the chance to try.

Taiwanese Black Tea

Taiwan has been exporting varieties of black tea since the end of the 19th Century, after the Japanese occupation created major industrial and agricultural changes to the island. Before Japan’s imperial colonization, Taiwan was known primarily for its oolong tea. In 1917, black tea began being cultivated around the Sun Moon Lake region in Taiwan’s mountainous Nantou County. In the decades that followed, Sun Moon Lake black tea became highly sought after for its high quality and sweet, rich, smooth flavor. It is a key ingredient if you want to have the most delicious version of classic Taiwanese boba milk tea.
