Happy Mother's Day

Do everything in love…I Corinthians 16:14

As we celebrate Mother’s Day, I would like to share about what is happening at Esther’s Place of Grace. Everything about Esther’s Place speaks to life, motherhood and children, especially babies. We work together to instill in a mother’s heart how precious she is both to God and to us. God gives us so much more than we deserve and He has blessed us with 2 beautiful mamas who are attending our Embrace Grace meetings at the home on Tuesday evenings. Part of Embrace Grace is the baby shower that will be held this summer, TBA. If you would like to help with the shower, there will be plenty to do. Please respond to this email.

Embrace Grace has blessed our group with funds to apply to any activities involving Embrace Grace. We are filled with thankfulness for their generosity and kindness. This will make our events extra special.

Way To Go!

We are so proud and happy for Tiffany, Esther’s Place first program “graduate” as she embarks on a new stage of her life. During her stay at Esther’s Place, she grew in several areas of her life.  She improved her attendance and punctuality at work. She arranged her own transportation to and from the job. She saved funds for her new apartment and paid debts.  A great accomplishment is being one-year, clean and sober as well as quitting smoking. We were so proud when she got her State of Ohio Adult Diploma while studying for her STNA certification.  As a native of Newark, she helped Esther’s staff navigate various resources in the area such as local food pantries and thrift stores.  Her knack for organization and decorating came into play at Esther’s as she helped to organize bedrooms, nursery areas and furnishings at the home.  Relationships are crucial when making life changes and Tiffany was surrounded with new and healthy associations of supportive friends from Esther’s Place who will continue to be a phone call away.  We applaud Tiffany’s efforts while reaching her original goal at Esther’s Place of establishing an independent living situation as she moved into her new apartment, and we pray she realizes even more abundant blessings in the future for herself & her family.
