Since everyone does a slightly different version of Advent, I left these templates open for you to draw in your own stitch lines and have plenty of space for all your fun holiday embellishments! I thought the holly was a simple element to tie all the pages together.

The humble beginning of Christ's birth in that earthy stable long ago is still relevant today for however messy we are. We aren't all prettily packaged and tied up with gleaming bows. We're flawed and well-worn, even a bit frayed around the edges.

Our fascination with snow globes is fairly ageless, don't you think? We've got one that used to be my mother-in-law's that always mesmerized our boys when we visited her house during the holidays. It's a wind-up music box that has a snow globe on top of it.
