LOOKING FOR FULL and PART-TIME BARN HELP

We are getting busy again with summer heading our way! Therefore, we're in need of a staff member(s). General work hours will be 8am until 4-4:30pm. Days and hours can be somewhat flexible to the right person. Some previous horse handling required, training also offered. Must be able to lift 50 pounds or more (= feed bags, hay bales etc).

We are a family-like team here. Our entire staff, as well as our volunteers, are all very hard workers. We always do our best to give our animals the best life possible. We have a variety of horses, ponies, donkeys, mules, zedonk, and the smaller farm animals including goats, sheep, llama, cows, chickens, ducks, goose, peafowl, guinea pigs, rabbits, tortoises and more.

We are looking for a hard working individual to join our core team! A good sense of humor would also be fabulous, as we're a funny bunch of people (at least so we think).

Duties include:

- turn out of horses

- spreading of turn out hay in the morning

- stall cleaning

- water bucket cleaning & filling

- occasional moving of heavy hay bales and feed bags

- cleaning of small animal paddocks

Starting pay is $12/hour, with room for advancement.

Please call (860) 873-1895 to apply, ask for Sanna.

Or send us a message on Facebook.
