Let me introduce myself

Hello beautiful, I am Jacinta Bolsenbroek and I am a Health, Wellness and Lifestyle coach who loves nothing more than showing people how to empower themselves to live a life of their own design.

I love nothing more than helping people break through their challenges and be able to Live their best Life.

The biggest 'secret' I discovered on my own journey is that its your small daily habits that create BIG lasting transformation.

Before this, I woke up with a ‘to do list’ and struggled to have gratitude as my first thought of the day.

I was a woman of action, goals, drive and a never ending to do list - I had forgotten to stop and smell the roses and soon realised I was not getting any further ahead with this mindset - I knew something had to change in order to live my dream life.

So I started making little changes to my morning habits, I began waking up with the mantra “I love mornings and mornings love me”, saying three things to be thankful for, nourishing my mind, soul and most importantly my body!

Over time, my life was looking significantly different. I realised if I applied small empowering habits every single day - then anything you dream of, you could create.Day 1. Good morning sunshine, your task today is to start the morning with your new mantra: “I love mornings and mornings love me”, and say 3 things you are thankful for before you look at Instagram, (you can write these down in your diary).Now let’s practise some of your new daily habits, let's start with your mind and body;Let’s begin! The truth is it’s not about stopping your thoughts, it's about allowing them and releasing them, instead of trying to problem solve or over think it - I find Louise Hay’s guided meditation on youtube a useful tool for those beginning their meditation journey - begin with 10 minutes this morning.Pick a new read or podcast, and get in 10 minutes of enriching your mind, my favourite podcast right now is Oprah’s Super Soul Conversations (they are about 30 mins)The next thing to do is stretch and move your body - don’t worry you don’t need to run a marathon or compete in the next Fitness Comp, simply move your body for 10 minutes. Now I help show others how they can do the same. I believe in the power of nutrition, the mind and nurturing the soul! Day 1.

Good morning sunshine, your task today is to start the morning with your new mantra: “I love mornings and mornings love me”, and say 3 things you are thankful for before you look at Instagram, (you can write these down in your diary).

Everyone's first question when it comes to meditation is how do you stop thinking. SELF LOVE TIP: Learn to say NO. I agree, step out of your comfoirt zone, say YES to things, say YES to things that serve you, but learn to say no sometimes doesn’t make you a bad person, it makes you a smart person. Saying no to things that don’t serve you. I used to say YES to everything, to make other people happy, but in reality I was running around like a headless chook, and I wasn’t looking after me! So say YES to the things that make you happy and NO to the things that won’t. Jim Carrey’s YES MAN movie hit the nail on the head!

 

MORNINGS WITH SUCCESSFUL WOMEN

Who: Co-Founder and Editor-in-Chief of The Huffington Post: ARIANNA HUFFINGTON

First Thing: Practices yoga and meditation.

Routine: “A big part of my morning ritual is about what I don’t do: When I wake up, I don’t start the day by looking at my smartphone. Instead, once I’m awake, I take a minute to breathe deeply, be grateful, and set my intention for the day.” Huffington radiates positive energy and has been setting the pace for the digital media industry for the last decade, so we think she’s a great woman to emulate.

Day 2:

Good morning sunshine,

How are you feeling after your first day into your new “I love mornings and mornings love me” daily routine?

 

Are you nourishing your body throughout the day?

I love to start my day with a healthy, nutritious and quality smoothie - I love that my smoothies take 30 seconds to make and I can write out my gratitude while sipping away.

 

Today continue the practises you learnt yesterday.

Today, get your diary out, start by writing your gratitudes down at the very top.

If you haven’t found a diary, buy a unicorn covered or plain diary with the times written down the side on each day and begin taking notice of your daily routine.

Throughout the day:

  • Write out everything you do in your diary.
  • Notice where is your time being spent?

 

Write down absolutely everything… and notice where your energy is high, where it slumps, when you are most productive and how you feel throughout the day.

SELF LOVE TIP: Close those loops girl! You know what I am talking about, cutting off the dead wood, letting go of that baggage and ending those toxic relationships. Seriously. Anyone who makes you feel anything less than amazing doesn’t deserve to be a part of your life - Let go, release and forgive.

MORNINGS WITH SUCCESSFUL WOMEN

Who: Actress and model: ROSIE HUNTINGTON-WHITELEY. First Thing: Spends quality time with her husband.

Routine: By mid-morning, Huntington-Whiteley has already walked her miniature dachshunds, made breakfast, spritzed herself with perfume, and endured a major sweat session. She said she is addicted to moving my body. By the time most of us settle into their office chairs, Huntington-Whiteley has already nourished her body with a healthy smoothie, replied to emails, and had her hair and makeup done for the day’s shoot.Choose the layout you love, then add beautiful images, lively text and a catchy button to make it your own. Day 3:

Good morning sunshine,

Welcome to day three!

I trust your morning rituals are starting to become part of your everyday life and you are feeling excited for your mornings.

 

Today take notice on where is your energy at?

Don’t worry if these habits are not quiet feeling natural yet, that adopting these new habits into your morning and noting your daily activities slowly will make changes and become healthy habits.

 

Today when you write in your diary;

  • Watch your energy levels throughout the day.
  • When are you most productive?
  • When are you most creative?
  • When are you most tired and drained?
  • When are you most alert?
  • When does your brain feel full of sludge?
  • How does your body clock work?
  • And don’t forget those three gratitude's...

SELF LOVE TIP: Do something you're good at.

If this isn’t the ultimate self-esteem booster, I don’t know what is! Self-esteem and self-love often go hand in hand, and participating in a hobby you're good at will not only boost your endorphins, but will bring out the best version of you. If you love to cook, then cook! If you love to run, then grab those sneakers, head outside and run for your life.

Who: Editor-in-Chief of Vogue and Artistic Director of Conde Nast: ANNA WINTOUR

First Thing: Plays tennis.

Routine: Every morning at 5:45 a.m, Anna Wintour arrives at New York’s Midtown Tennis Club for one hour of tennis.

Then it’s a quick primping process at home before the editor in chief goes to her office at One World Trade Center to take an endless set of meetings.

Long meetings are “anything that runs over seven minutes,” according to The September Issue’s director, R.J. Cutler.

Day 4:

Sometimes we forget to stop and think about these things, so I have some questions for you, I’d love for you to take note of and answer these today - I implore you to take 5 minutes to note them down, even email me your list, I’d love to hear more about you!

SELF LOVE TIP: No more comparison!

Comparison is the thief of all joy! Browsed through social media I know it's hard to look at so many positive pics on the Internet, but know everyone has bad days. The next time you want to browse Instagram and feel bad about yourself, remember that you are perfect just the way you are; being in a pattern of compare and despair only makes you focus on the negative, when there's SO much to be grateful for, remember to say three things you are thankful for in this moment!

 

MORNINGS WITH SUCCESSFUL WOMEN

 

Who: Actress and founder of Goop, GWYNETH PALTROW

First Thing: Drinks warm water with lemon.

Routine: After the kids are dressed, fed, dropped off at school, and even read to, the Oscar-winning lifestyle guru takes does her daily exercise routine and takes an hour for responding to work emails.

Here is a little note from me, for you today;

Everytime I run a course, there are always a few that sign-up but don't show up

(this is for all programs, events etc - not just this one).

There are some that start but don't finish.

I wanted to congratulate all of you for showing up, participating and giving this Master class your all.

It tells me that you are already on your way to making HUGE changes in your life.

I'm so excited for you.

Your commitment and hard work will pay off!

Day 5:

 

Good morning sunshine,

 

You have been writing down your daily activities for the last few days and now it’s time to get colourful and start colourblocking your diary.

 

Colourblock code your dairy to prioritise and feel ready for the day, I like to review my diary the night before so you know exactly what you are doing the next day.

 

Some things you might want to color-code and use different colors for:

  • Each family member
  • After-work activities
  • Committees & sporting clubs
  • Meal Planning
  • Chores/cleaning/home related tasks
  • Projects
  • Hobbies
  • Blogging
  • Business related activites
  • Birthday & events
  • Savings goals, spending, bills and anything else related to money
  • Exercise/fitness/gym/workout

 

The ONE thing – your main priority for the week (or in your life right now – that BIG project you’re working towards)

You may have heard of colour blocking before. By color coding you can quickly and easily see what you have to do next.

If you don’t want to use colored pens, you can quickly color code using a black pen and then highlighting your tasks by category, time etc.

 

When you do this, you begin to realise your priorities, where you have time or maybe you are trying to achieve too much in one day and are feeling overwhelmed.

Don’t worry this was me - three goals a day is more than enough, trust me!

I can’t wait to see your diary looking colourful.

SELF LOVE TIP: Clean out your closet.

This may be more therapeutic than you initially think. Cleaning out your closet will help you not only clean your room up a bit, but will positively affect your mind. Getting rid of old things will make room for new things to come in to your life! Cleansing your mind can sometimes work in the form of letting go of clothes, shoes, jewelry, etc. that remind you of a certain time in your life that links to a negative vibration. Don’t chase what’s already happened; love yourself enough to know the best is yet to come.

 

MORNINGS WITH SUCCESSFUL WOMEN

First Thing: Exercises.

Routine: Katherine says ‘Exercise wakes me up and gets my juices flowing. I get my best ideas working out or on a drive back from the gym to the house.’

Her post-workout breakfast usually consists of a something healthy and nutritious!

She puts her sweat session ideas to action immediately. “Well, I obsess on them the whole class. And then I got to my car and I open my Notes on my phone, and I either type it or make a call to somebody who will listen to me at 7 in the morning.”

Keep the daily practice of gratitude's going, your morning mindset routine, color blocking your diary and making time for yourself, self love and showing yourself more love and respect will radiate goodness and show up in your everyday life - just watch!

SELF LOVE TIP: Know your body is a loving vessel.

Treating your body like a loving vessel will not only boost your self-love, but also your energy. Be intentional about what you put into your body, not only because you want to look good but because you want to feel good. Feeding your body nutrient-rich foods will have you oozing love out of every pore.

First Thing: “Me” time.

Routine: In the half-hour before her kids wake up, Beckham showers, washes her face, and has a modest healthy breakfast.
