As ugly as this war is, God is being made known through His miracles among those who trust in Him, through the kindness of those who are helping those in need, through the long trips to the middle of Ukraine carrying supplies for those who remained to fight or are unable to leave, and through the message of hope shown by every believer.
In many cities and towns, there are new Ukrainian church programs established, Bibles given in their own language, and the blessings of God are experienced by both those who give and those who receive.
Here in Baneasa, we are hosting mothers with children who are planning on staying long-term, as well as those who need temporary shelter as they are transitioning to other countries. Mike has been taking loads of food, medical supplies, and personal care items to churches in Ukraine, who in turn are delivering them to the area where help is needed the most. It was a great joy to lead these precious ladies and others to the Lord and integrate them into our Baneasa family!
The border crossing points are still overwhelmed with great numbers of people, although the excitement and the resources to help are slowly dwindling as people begin to feel the hardship of receiving more refugees. The increasing cost of energy, groceries, fuel, etc., are being felt by everyone.
