Author's Note:
Happy Tuesday! I am currently enjoying a vanilla latte (quad espresso + 2 pumps of vanilla) while listening to Richie Furay - oldie, but always a goodie. Look him up on Spotify! Great Christian artist who used to be a part of Buffalo Springfield. If you know, you know.
I am a woman of few words today. My daily spiritual battles have been more than intense lately, and definitely personal. Let's just say the devil is angry and seeking whom he may devour(1 Peter 5:6-10 KJV). I am not to be devoured because my battles belong to the Lord. That doesn't mean I'm not exhausted, though. I praise God for His strength and sustainability! Much like David lamented and rejoiced in the Lord, I am doing much of the same, especially the rejoicing part.
With that said, I will leave you with this reminder: STAY IN THE WORD. Watch sermons that edify, correct, and encourage you to run to Jesus. Anything that feeds your flesh and your feelings is unbiblical. Stay in prayer throughout the day. Take God at His WORD, for it is THE TRUTH - meditate on it day and night (Psalms 1:1-2 KLV). Be sure to wear your full armor of God at all times (Ephesians 6:11-18 KJV) and, most importantly, rest in Him (Psalms 3:5 KJV).
Remember your Creator carries you.
