Check out what we've been up to

Welcome to this month's newsletter, there's been lots going on! All of our athletics teams have been in action in May with well over 150 athletes competing across all age groups for the club. In addition we've had another great open event with over 400 entries (make sure you enter the next open on 10th June) and some brilliant performances setting 26 new club records. We also have 35 new county champions for Leicestershire & Rutland (with a total of 42 titles between them) and a fantastic World Record for Sophie Hahn at the Loughborough International meeting. YDL, Seniors, Masters Athletics

It has been a busy start to the season for all our track and field teams.

In the lower age group YDL (for U13 and U15 athletes) over 60 athletes have been competing and we have started very successfully with two match wins, and are well placed to get to the promotion match on 20th July - we need all athletes possible for this. Click here for a report on the first two matches at Leicester and Stoke.

In the upper age group (for U17 and U20 athletes) we have had a steady start lying in 4th place at the moment.

All the YDL results can be found on the YDL website here.

Our seniors and masters teams have also been in action in May, league results and positions can be found here Seniors and here Masters Match 1 Nuneaton .

We are keen to see all our members getting the chance to compete for the club so please contact the team managers (contact details here) to let them know you're interested.
