( ICYMI ) The Recap HEAD & HEART Solo Exhibition Westmoreland Museum of American Art Dec 13, 2019 -- January 12, 2020 The Closing Event was on January 10, 2020. It was a perfect night and a milestone for my career. Thank you to everyone who came out to Greensburg PA for this event which paired with Empty Bowl, a nationwide movement that raises money and awareness for the fight against hunger. I couldn't be more happy about this opportunity. My family and friends came from near and far to support me! |

If you are near, I hope you will consider adding this to your calendar. I am so excited to show new work, including some larger work! It has definitely been a goal to work larger, but I have never been offered space to show it. I joined 530 Burns Gallery in September and I can't say enough good things about the people and the other artists with whom I am proud to be represented. |

BOAT 59 36"x36", Oil on Canvas Why I love it- it is inspired by Cape Cod in 2019. My experiences on Cape Cod have shaped my process and have given me endless inspiration. This scene is from a sunset sailboat cruise around Provincetown MA. So many people tell me their favorites are my boats and I love to hear that! But, what I really appreciate is, that I seem to have something for everyone. You don't need to get it all, but I hope you get some of it;) |

A Quick Word My work is represented by several galleries in the United States. It is not as easy as you may think to find the right fit and finding a gallery to represent my work doesn't happen every day. It involves collaboration and trust on both sides and both need to know the other is working towards success. Each is unique in the curation and the vibe of the gallery and I am grateful to be included and supported by the people whom I also I call friends. They work to present every artist's work in the best light. They are also very knowledgeable about the artist and their work and can use the artist's own words to share the motivation and techniques that are unique to each artist. While every piece of Kim McAninch art that they have in their possession is on the AVAILABLE tab on my site, I encourage you to visit their websites. Furthermore, each can assist you both as a visitor to their gallery, if you find yourself in the area, or over the phone - and all will ship worldwide. PAINTED FINCH GALLERY 32 North Center St Corry, PA 16407 Painted Finch currently has a very large selection of my work, including work on paper from the Westmoreland Solo Exhibition. Owner, Wendy Neckers, an artist herself, has been supportive of my art for many years and has watched my growth! |
