Adventure Dash Kick Off – Our biggest fundraiser kicks off Tuesday, October 8 with the Kick Off Pep Rally! Your child can start earning donations NOW by simply registering through this link: Register for Adventure Dash. Chili Cook-off – Teachers, get ready to sample and vote on the best chili in our school community! Knowles families, sign up if you'd like to donate items for this teacher luncheon. Items need to be dropped off at the Science Lab on Friday, October 11 no later than 9:00 AM. Trunk or Treat – Join us on Saturday, October 26 from 12:00-1:30 PM for a spooktacular (free) event where kids can safely trick-or-treat. Let us know if you'd like to participate and decorate your trunk. Note that the Scholastic Book Fair will be held the same day! Stop by the Knowles Library before you go Trunk or Treating! Upcoming Kona Ice Days – There are two more chances this October to stop by the Kona Ice Truck and enjoy time with classmates, friends, and family after school. Check out our fun video from the last Kona Ice Day below! We’re also excited to announce that we’ve surpassed 100 PTA members! If you haven’t joined yet, now’s the time—sign up your spouses, grandparents, and family friends. Adventure Dash Kick Off! Tuesday, October 8 We are partnering with Adventure Dash Fun Run for our Fall fundraiser this year! The fundraiser will officially kick off Tuesday, October 8th but you can register your child(ren) now to get a head start! Join Us for Trunk or Treat! Saturday, October 26 from 12:00-1:30 PM Get ready for a spooktacular evening of safe trick-or-treating at Knowles Elementary! We invite our community to decorate their trunks in creative themes and share treats with our little ghouls and goblins. After School Reflections Workshops Join us after school for Reflections Art Workshops! All grades are welcome to participate. The PTA will provide supplies, snacks, and a fun atmosphere to help your student craft their entries. Here are the remaining days in October: Tuesdays - October 8, 15, and 29, from 3:00 pm to 4:15 pm. This year's Reflections theme is Accepting Imperfection. All submissions are due October 31. It’s a great way to get out of cooking dinner and socialize with our Wrangler Family! When you let them know you’re with Knowles Elementary, a portion of your tab is donated to the Knowles PTA. Poems About Amazing Hispanics and Pepe and the Parade, the setup encouraged students to explore the rich history and contributions of Hispanic cultures. |
