Curb Address Painting begins

Monday, June 26th!

Mr. Williams (Andrew's Dad) got a head start on the rest of us!

More than 20 GVTH5 curb addresses have been identified as needing to be repainted due to being absent or illegible. On June 26, 2023, our contractor, John from Colorado House Painter, will begin painting a basic address design on the designated curbs.

Tony Dinardo, Sharon Foster, Andrew Williams, members of the Architectural Committee, and Ronnie Hill, the President, identified twenty-three curb addresses that met the criteria of requiring being painted; Esperanza: 112,240,250. Los Olmos: 12,30,38,46,62,65. Los Pinos: 46,55,56,64,65. Los Robles: 126,158,190,242,282. Los Yucas: 21,34,64,81.

The Architectural Committee's basic design is a white 19"x9" block with black lettering and numerals. Thanks to the generosity of our neighbor, Gudrun "Gudie" Price, there will be no charge to the homeowner for this service! Gudie has donated funds to cover the entire cost of the project.

The Committee will not paint GVTH5 homeowners' addresses whose curb address is not listed above. However, if you desire the new basic curb address model, contact the Architectural Committee at gvth5committees@gmail.com or Andrew Williams at 520-777-6026. There will not be a charge to the homeowner who elects this option. The Board has awarded additional funds to cover the cost of any homeowner who would select the basic curb address design.

Some of us have specialty designs incorporated into our curb addresses. To that end, the Architectural Committee also secured a fixed fee for custom curb addresses from Colorado House Painter, including several specialized patterns (below) and up to three colors for forty dollars. You, the homeowner, would be responsible for this fee. Please call Colorado House Painter at (303) 518-4530.

You can choose from 1) Flag 2) Sunrise or 3) Moon for $40!

Median Project is Still Alive!

Our Median Improvement Project continues to be on hold as all “t’s are crossed and “i’s” dotted and proper licensing is obtained through Pima County before work can continue. Unfortunately, the process is quite slow and we don't expect to see further activity until fall.

On an unrelated but exciting topic, we're seeing early activity next door at the old Compass Bank site, as Northwest Medical begins work on an anticipated Health Clinic!
