Miami, FL, 26 de julio de 2021.- (@MinayaPR) El ganador del Latin GRAMMY®, Luis Gómez, presenta su nuevo grupo musical denominado Luisito Gomez & Calle 107 que debuta con el tema "Ya No Me Llamas" disponible en todas las plataformas digitales.

"Entiendo que ha llegado el tiempo de mostrarle al mundo mi propuesta musical junto a grandes músicos y amigos. No ha habido una banda de salsa de Nueva York con éxito comercial desde 1990s. El espacio para un nuevo grupo de salsa está abierto" expresa Luisito quien recibió el Latin GRAMMY® en el 2015 por su trabajo en el álbum "Tributo a Los Compadres: No Quiero Llanto" del artista José Alberto El Canario.

"Ya no me llamas" se estrena conjunto a un vídeo musical, dirigido por Joseph Medina donde participan junto a Luisito, Vladimir Melo Ortiz, Marvin Moscoso y Ordanis Castillo como integrantes de Calle 107.

Historia
Luisito es un músico acreditado, arreglista, y productor discográfico y desde muy joven, demostró un gran amor y talento por la música comenzando su formación como pianista a los 5 años.

Fania All Stars, Frankie Ruiz, Tito Rojas, Ramón Orlando, los Temptations y Earth Wind and Fire lo inspiraron a convertirse en el artista que es hoy en día.

En el 2003, fue el primer beneficiario de la beca de la Fundación de Celia Cruz. A los 15 años, Luisito empezó a tocar en clubes nocturnos de Nueva York como Copacabana y Latin Quarters para renombrados artistas de la salsa como Ismael Miranda, Andy Montanez, Gilberto Santa Rosa, La India, Oscar D' León, José Alberto El Canario, Luis Enrique, George Lamond, Jerry Rivera, entre otros.

Es graduado de la prestigiosa Berklee College of Music donde logró una doble titulación en Jazz Composition y Music Production & Engineering.

Luisito también recibió una nominación al GRAMMY americano en el 2016 por su trabajo en el álbum de El Canario que fue nominado también como "Mejor Álbum Latino Tropical".

Además de trabajar como productor musical para José Alberto El Canario, también ha trabajado como productor y arreglista para Tito Nieves, Raulín Rosendo, The New York Band, Rey Reyes, Henry García y varios artistas independientes.

Miami, FL, July 26, 2021.- (@MinayaPR) Latin GRAMMY® winner Luisito Gomez leads a new musical group Luisito Gomez & Calle 107 for their debut song release “Ya No Me Llamas", which is available on all digital platforms.

"I believe that the time has come to show the world my own musical project together with great musicians and friends. There hasn't been a New York based salsa band with commercial success since the 1990's. The space for a new salsa group is wide open right now," said Luisito Gomez who received a Latin GRAMMY® award for his work on the album, "Tributo a Los Compadres: No Quiero Llanto” by artist Jose Alberto El Canario.

Their debut single "Ya no me llamas” and music video directed by Joseph Medina will be released on July 23, 2021. Luisito Gomez & Calle 107 is led by pianist and producer Luisito Gomez and comprises Vladimir Melo Ortiz, Marvin Moscoso, and Ordanis Castillo.

History

Luisito is an accomplished musician, arranger and producer who displayed great talent and love of music as a pianist at age five.

Fania All Stars, Frankie Ruiz, Tito Rojas, Ramon Orlando, the Temptations and Earth Wind and Fire inspired him to become the artist he is today.

In 2003, he was the first recipient of the Celia Cruz Foundation Scholarship. By age 15, Luisito started playing in New York City NightClubs such as Copacabana and Latin Quarters with salsa artists including Ismael Miranda, Andy Montanez, Gilberto Santa Rosa, La India, Oscar D' León, José Alberto El Canario, Luis Enrique, George Lamond, Jerry Rivera, among others.

He is a graduate of Berklee College of Music where he completed a double major in Jazz Composition and Music Production & Engineering.

Luisito also received a 2016 GRAMMY nomination for his work on "Tributo a Los Compadres: No Quiero Llanto” by artist Jose Alberto El Canario which was nominated for Best Tropical Latin Album.

In addition to his production work for Jose Alberto El Canario, he has also produced and arranged for Tito Nieves, Raulin Rosendo, The New York Band, Rey Reyes, Henry Garcia and several independent artists.
