Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!!!

2019 has flown by.  So much for me not teaching as much.  Haha!  I do love what I do, and that's a good thing!  I've been busy, especially the last couple of months.  Thanks to all of my students, I appreciate each of you and what you teach me. Looking forward to seeing all of you in 2020!

REMEMBER TO TELL FRIENDS ABOUT ME!

I am always looking for before and after photos to use both in my newsletter and on my FB pages.  Testimonials are a wonderful way to let other riders know that what I teach, works!  Testimonials do not have to be long, they can be just a few sentences, and can be anonymous or first name only if you'd rather.  Email pictures and testimonials to me at TheEmpoweredRider@gmail.com Or you can text to me 706-201-8940

I need more reviews on my FB page so if you have a few minutes, go to The Empowered Rider FB page and click "reviews" then I think you have a place to click "write a review".  This way it shows up under the review tab if anyone wants to look, plus you can rate me with stars.  If you just write a review in the visitor comments section, it makes it harder for people to see it.

All of the above helps to convince people to give me a try. Much appreciated!

Testimonials

Well I"m way behind!  This is Tami on Timber.  They showed at the WDAA World Show (held in OK) back in September for the first time ever. Yes Timber is a Tennessee Walker, they showed in the Gaited Western Dressage classes.  This picture is from the Costume Freestyle where they rode to music from the Lion King. I believe Tami's daughter made the lion mane for Timber.

The pair cleaned house:

entered in 8 classes, winning World Champion in 6 of them and Reserve Champion in the other 2. I believe they were also division World Champions as well.

Congratulations to a very successful showing! Timber is a very special horse.

Leah and Walter

This pair also showed at the WDAA World show for the first time ever. Not a bad haul for first time out at the World. I love the jackets the WDAA gives out for Championships.

Walter is a big horse, lots for Leah to organize.  He's versatile and such a good boy, but much of his past was slow western type training.  We've been working to get him more active behind, creating a more flowing look to his way of going.

This team also showed at the WDAFL State Championships in November.  A nice bounty from a show with serious competition going on.

So proud of them and how far they have come. Look at that 10!!! And on a stretchy circle too!!!  And I'm not afraid to brag here, I can HELP you with the free jog/stretchy trot circles!  I have the "secret stuff" as one of my students likes to call it. Haha!

And yet another rider who showed for the first time at the WDAA World Show!

Andrea and Sweet Stylish Marana

Top pic is them showing in the Costume Freestyle class. As if the theme isn't obvious, they rode to the Pirates of the Caribbean music. Andrea is super talented and made that outfit!  Andrea also makes stunning show shirts very reasonably priced.

Sweet Pea is quite green, with very limited show experience. So much potential in this talented team, I can't wait to see how far this pair goes!

Competition is fierce at the World Show. Look at that score! A 78% only earned the pair 3rd place.  More importantly, look at the collective remarks. Big smile on my face! 9 for harmony, the other numbers ain't too shabby neither, and what a wonderful comment from the judge:

"Lovely horse with willing attitude ridden by quiet, tactful rider."

Things to strive for for sure!  Job well done.
