The Tivoli has obligingly squeezed a few more cabaret tables in downstairs, within Covid regulations of course. The view from almost all balcony theatre seats is as good or better than downstairs, you just can’t order food and drinks to be brought to you. However, there are some cocktail tables for two where you can. |

To whet the appetite, here are some background video pieces which provide insights about our illustrious speakers: - Qld Chief Scientist Hugh Possingham takes a refreshingly businesslike approach to conservation and climate change. See about 9:30 mins in.
- Robin Batterham, Chair of the Net Zero Australia project (and former Australian Chief Scientist), argues that science is not about truth, but utility, especially when it comes to climate change.
- CEO of CleanCo Qld, Maia Schweizer, talks about the role of the Qld Government’s renewable energy generator/retailer. Interesting bit about the effect of Covid-reduced demand on renewables investment also at about 9:30 mins.
- And last but not least, moderator Hon John Anderson, farmer and former Deputy PM, interviews two elders in renewable agriculture on his YouTube channel.
