TRAVEL ADVISORY: Lake Cook Road is reduced down to one lane in each direction between Raupp Boulevard and Lexington Drive. Expect long delays and be alert for the new traffic pattern along Lake Cook Road. Pattern Change on IL-83 (McHenry Road) began on 6/29/20. Be alert when driving through the work zone. The Contractor began placing traffic into Stage 4 Maintenance of Traffic Configuration along IL-83 the week of 6/29/20. Once traffic is placed in this configuration the Contractor will be able to finish storm sewer installations and start the reconstruction of the roadway. During this stage, IL-83 (McHenry Road) will remain a single lane in each direction from Pauline Avenue to Fairview Drive. Be alert when driving through the work zone and expect long delays.
