Let's begin again in Constructive Rest, following all the tips from the last Blog, taking time to feel into our whole bodies and yield our weight to gravity so that...we give our whole system the chance to let go of some of the held tension we become aware of.
Let's be curious about how our fluid bodies are feeling right now, as Easter approaches.
This process requires our Attention, Our Intention and our Willingness to allow
our whole being to soften, with breath before we start.
Begin now with gentle fluid pelvic arches and curls, then settle between the arch and curl into neutral pelvis. And now adding on to our last fundamental work out continue to work slowly, gently and deeply with breath, keeping your pelvis stable...
Breath In to prepare, Breath Out to connect core gently and deeply before making your moves. Give your body time to connect well and hold while you move.
Supine Single Leg Slides, add Single Knee Sides and Single Knee Floats.
Now on a long roller or a rolled up blanket do your Arm Floats, Arm Shrugs, add Hug-a-Tree and Alternate Arms, Curl ups add the oblique direction this time.
Now off the roller Pelvic Curl to Bridge, add PCTB to a one leg knee float, keeping pelvis even and Supine Spine Twist (knees to one side, head looks opposite side).
Roll gently now onto your front and prepare with breath connections for Diamond Press, Dart and Single Leg Reaches add some swim legs.
Side Lie next for Chest Openers, Clams, Leg Reaches (top Leg), Adductor Lifts (bottom leg), add a Quad Stretch, then onto your back for a Pretzel Stretch and all other leg stretches. Now sense again in Constructive Rest - how does your body feel?
Your mind? Your breath? Your weight?
Again you might like to stand for a Side Stretch and a Standing Roll Down.
You gave yourself permission to pause your life and safely move well.
Well done.
You deserve an Easter Egg and a Bun!
