 OCEAN ASSETS NEWS

July 7 was a historic day for the international shipping sector: The International Maritime Organization (IMO) adopted its 2023 GHG Strategy - a much stronger revision of their 2018 Initial Strategy - to reduce GHG emissions to net zero by 2050 (see excellent review here by Drs. Tristan Smith and Aly Shaw of UCL Energy Institute). BlueDeals will participate in this investment opportunity with offerings to decarbonise fleets in the Global South.

Ocean Assets Institute has been honored to be working with Forum Oceano in developing the Business Plans for Ports and Accelerators for the EU’s AspBAN Project. The project reaches the end of its first phase on July 31, 2023. The full report will be posted when available!
