WORCS GLEN HELEN, CA

FEB 19-20

WORCS Round 2 FEB 19-20 Glen Helen, CA. Not entirely the best results for us this weekend, but we are all healthy. This year WORCS had a shorter track, around 6 miles. The laps were getting clicked off pretty fast. It also didn't get as rough like years past. WORCS also added in infamous K-rails that everyone loves so much. Plenty of carnage was offered there.

TREVOR STEWART

5TH

 PRO

Trevor had a solid ride going and was pushing hard for 3rd place with Factory Beta and PC Kawasaki riders. Unfortunately one to many mistakes over the k rail cost him some time and set him back. He pushed to the end to finish 5th place.

In his words:

"P-5 on the day yesterday. One of the more rollercoaster races I’ve ever done, from starting in 2nd and crashing halfway through first lap to drop back to 7th, charge back up to 3rd, and take another hard hit and fall back to 5th. Hard day physically & mentally. Felt like I had the speed to win, and didn’t. I banged the bike up which didn’t help. A weekend off and back to it. Gonna rest a couple days and break this new bike in. Thank you!"

THOMAS DUNN

4TH

PRO 250

Thomas ran in 4th place most of the race and put in some consistent laps battling for the 4th place spot. Some good consistency coming from him at the WORCS series.

In his words:

"The 2nd round of Worcs at Glen Helen went well. I rode really good at the end of the race and was able to finish 4th. All and all a good day just need to clean up some things at the beginning of the race to be with the boys at the front. Thanks to our sponsors & the whole Purvines team for an awesome weekend. "

JUSTIN SEEDS

DNF

PRO 250

Seeds just didn't have a good day. He got about 6 laps in before DNF'ing the race. Some issues held us back from getting back out there.

In his words:

"I started off with a amazing jump off the line, finding myself in the 3rd spot going up the first hill. It was right where I needed to be, until we hit the K rail. After that my race went to crap and started having all kinds of problems (not bike related). Right about the half way mark I decided it was the best for me to pull off the track and figure things out moving into the next race."
