Sausalito's Working Waterfront Boatyards have a very active fall season

A variety of boats were hauled out in the last 2 months for maintenance and repair.  Our boatyards not only take care of Sausalito's 2100 pleasure boats but are essential in caring for northern California's fishing fleet, charter tour boats and other commercial vessels.

Work included Carl Moyer state funded low emission diesel engine replacement program.

Awarded 3rd Place in Chili Cook-off

Despite this being SWWC's first year competing and with serious competition from 11 other groups we managed to take 3rd place in Judge's Choice and have some good fun!

Val is a fabricator in the Marinship.  He's worked with other local businesses including restaurants other Marinship technology companies. Val had a key role in the fabrication of Marinship mass-produced face shields and hand-sanitizer given away to our communities at no cost during the pandemic.

The list of uses that are displacing industrial, maritime and artists is growing.  We lost another fabricator last month.  That's four industrial businesses that have left in the last 12 months. Some Marinship property owners use high lease rates to displace our industrial businesses and replace with non-compliant uses.
