February 2018

In the last few weeks, I participated in Create Christmas with Victoria Johnson Design.
You can find my first illustration in last months newsletter in case you missed it. For week 2, the theme was "New England Nostalgia"
... I grew up in southern New England and some of my favorite winter memories are sledding on Flexible Flyer sleds with my siblings and friends ...
so I thought I'd incorporate one in my design ... such fun!

Here is a coordinating repeat pattern ... perfect for some wrapping!

The theme for week 3 of Create Christmas was "Merry Kitchmas" ...
from a mid-century period, yet with a twist of modern and of course some glitter!
"Kitch" ... "art, objects or design considered to be in poor taste because of excessive garishness or sentimentality, but sometimes appreciated in an ironic or knowing way."

Everyday it's a good day to remind you of your beauty ... you are God's treasure!

A bit of encouragement to see you through winter ... A Spring floral repeat pattern!

Thanks so much for viewing my newsletter!
