Aces and Places.....December Newsletter

Board Developments:

The installation of the electronic court booking system is progressing - this will help us make the premises more secure, cut down on people using the courts without paying and provide an avenue to market to local tennis players. This should be in place shortly. No doubt there'll be some teething problems but this should be a positive step forward.

We are resurfacing the 3 hardcourts in front of the clubhouse. This should be complete by Christmas in readiness for pennants in the New Year. The courts will be in a matching blue to courts 1 to 5. We've also done some running repairs to court 3 to try and eliminate the issues with the court surface "bubbling"..

Welcome to more new sponsors.  We'll be highlighting our sponsors during the year.  We'd encourage members to use their services wherever possible and let them know you're from Hensman.

Welcome to Chris and Lexie Soklich of Soklich & Co located in Angelo St. They are master jewellers supplying high end jewellery in Australia and New Zealand. They focus in using Australian materials such as Broome Pearls, Argyle and Ellendale diamonds and Australian gold and labour. They also do jewellery repairs. Do call in and see Lexie and Chris and say hello.
