Dear Foresight Community, Welcome to the first edition of the 2025 Futures4Europe newsletter! This edition explores several innovative foresight applications in a multitude of contexts, from desired futures for European youth, to fundamental human rights, and looking forward, what makes a democracy last. In anticipation of a significant milestone, the Futures4Europe Conference on 15-16 May in Vienna, explore an exclusive interview with one of the keynote speakers striving to reduce health inequalities in Wales by implementing foresight to give unborn generations a voice. To focus even more locally, see how the "Fridays for Knowledge" initiative is revolutionising futures thinking in the small township of Diano Marina in Liguria, Italy. And finally, don't miss the coffee corner, featuring our very own Susanne Giesecke from the Eye of Europe Consortium. Happy reading and stay future curious! Sincerely, The Futures4Europe Team |
